How has returning as a Teaching Assistant enhanced their leadership skills and ability to mentor others?
She has become better at guiding others in a way that is easy to understand and persuasive.
What positive qualities or life skills has your child developed from both being a participant and now facilitating discussions with other students?
Debates improve her logical thinking, and by working together with others to prepare for them, she develop teamwork and the ability to put things together in a constructive way.
How has the program influenced your child’s perspective on social impact and contributing to the community?
It was a good opportunity for the students to look beyond the closed environment of school and into wider society. She has also found greater meaning in volunteering at nursing homes and cooking meals for the underprivileged through the student project she is currently engaged with.
What message would you like to share with other parents about the benefits of such a program?
Build interactive relationships with people from various backgrounds. Through this program, students will develop independence, they will learn to respect others, and the ability to create frameworks, drafts, and complete projects in teams.
