An embrace across ages : Project Feature on Silver Sayang, a NextGen Program incubatee that aims to build a happy community for seniors

As the champion project team that emerged from the first “Next Generation Philanthropy Leadership Program” summer camp in 2024, Silver Sayang demonstrated outstanding creativity, teamwork and project execution capabilities in the proposal phase, and won exclusive seed funding. With the support of the “Singapore Good Soil Foundation”, the project will be implemented through a special incubation process.

Project Introduction

Silver Sayang, a multimedia charity project full of vitality, is on a mission to enrich the lives of the elderly with connection, warmth and compassion. The vision of this project is to become a spark of happiness, dispel the loneliness of the elderly, and protect their spiritual oasis. In response to the elderly’s desire for participation, Silver Sayang is committed to creating a vibrant community where the elderly can feel noticed, listened to, and cherished, effectively solving the problem of social isolation.

Silver Sayang’s core philosophy is they believe in the power of connection, awareness and education. They aim to build a strategic blueprint to help seniors live a fulfilling life. Through art exhibitions, Silver Sayang aims to share and celebrate the unique journeys of seniors, illuminate the past, and inspire pride and belonging. Care packages are carefully crafted and filled with small items that promote health, self-care, and moments of laughter.
