We are looking for motivated, inquisitive and driven middle and high school students (ages 15-17) who want to make a difference in their communities and are eager to develop leadership and social entrepreneurial skills. The Next Generation Philanthropy Program is open to grade 9-11 students from all backgrounds, especially those from modest families who excel academically, demonstrate integrity and ambition, and possess a strong sense of mission to become future social entrepreneurs and philanthropic leaders.
This year’s Next Generation Philanthropy Leadership Program is jointly organized by the Singapore Good Soil Foundation, Sky9 Capital, and The University of Hong Kong. The program theme will focus on Art + AI for Social Good.
We will invite experienced Professors to impart their knowledge to student fellows. No prior experience in philanthropy is required; we seek individuals passionate about public welfare, leadership, learning, and creating a better world, who are willing to grow alongside like-minded peers in the coming years. The 2026 cohort will consist of one class totalling 50 student fellows. All applications will undergo a rigorous review process, followed by online interviews, culminating in the issuance of scholarship admission letters to successful candidates.
Additionally, we offer a limited number of self-funded spots for students who may not meet the scholarship criteria but are passionate about public welfare, aspire to engage in philanthropic endeavours, or need to manage family charitable foundations in the near future. These applicants can participate through self-funded enrolment and will also undergo interviews to ensure alignment with our cohort’s caliber. This option is contingent upon the scholarship slots not being fully occupied.
Eligibility: Applicants must be between Grade 9-11 (15 to 17 years old) at the time of application and be in good academic standing.
